"Enjoy college while it lasts -- four years really fly by!" This was a phrase I frequently heard from adults, and it made me roll my eyes every time. But now here I am, about to graduate, and boy, time did fly. I'd normally put into words how I'm feeling, but "The Heat" captured my feelings more perfectly than I ever could.
When you see your final grades and think you may have to repeat a course.
Please no.
When you pick up your graduation tickets and they ask if you have a job lined up for after graduation
The emotional night you spend with all your friends the night before graduation.
#neverletgo
When you (just barely) pass all your classes and your name gets called at graduation
When you finally graduate and never have to deal with those horrible professors that made your life hell again.
When you go to the bar after you graduate but can no longer use diamond dollars and don't have a job yet
So your start hostilely sending out your resumes so that you can afford your drinks at the bar.
When no one hires you, so you try to use some sex appeal to get a job.
#WhatAreThose
Moving back in with your mom and waiting until someone offers you a job
And when your mom sees you out with friends but you're still unemployed.
#ThanksMom
Then an employer calls and offers you a job!
And it's time to get sh*t done.
