About 4 months ago I became an Aunt to the cutest little guy. I know I know, I am being biased but for real.. he is handsome for only being 4 months old. Anyways, these past 4 months have been the most fun months of my life. Here's why...
1. You have automatic best friend- No need to fear, you have a lifetime best friend now. You will no longer be a loser with no friends..
2. You will definitely smile more than 10 times a day- Even on days you don't see them you will still smile cause you will go through your phone and find that video of the one time he peed all over the floor and your sister used the unused diaper as a pee shield.. yep.. that happened
3. You have someone to spoil- You no longer have to feel guilty for going shopping and spending all your money on yourself, you now get to spend all of your money on your cute niece or nephew and feel a little less guilty..
4. You have a super cuddle buddy- Mainly cause they are either too little to move or they know that struggling won't do them any good.. besides your cuddles are the best cuddles
5. Good Snapchats- Ya know how you have those friends on Snap who just send you weird and awkward selfies? We all have them.. Well your sister or brother will send you those but they are of your niece or nephew.. and they are the greatest thing in the world and they aren't awkward.. win win if you ask me
6. You don't have to wake up with them in the middle of the night- Once you get done playing with them and making them tired you get to hand them back over to their mom and dad and leave to get a good nights sleep while your brother or sister wakes up every other hour to feed or change your "sweet" little angel. Bless their souls..
7. You get to teach them how to be a good human being- There are a lot of not so good people in the world.. but this is a perfect chance to do our part and help raise them right. Make sure they say please and thank you, excuse me, sorry, and hold doors. Simple tasks that go a long ways.
I hope that every human being has the chance to be an Aunt or Uncle.. it is the best feeling in the world to have someone so precious look up to you.
