A night out at college can be crazy, but most likely you wouldn't have it any other way.

1) When you're getting dressed up you either feel completely amazing and ready to take on the evening like this...

...but most likely it's going more like this...

...which quickly spirals into this...

...but you know, you make it out... eventually.

2) When you've barely finished getting ready and the friend drama is already starting and you're like...

3) When you think you're being really cool taking shots at the pregame...

4) When you're too sober at a party and you end up dancing like this because you're not really sure if you want to be there anymore.

If you're not so sober you're probably grooving like this...

...but actually looking like this.

5) When you run into that girl from your Freshman Orientation Group and she's just like really surprisingly excited to see you.

6) Sometimes you'll do something awesome that you would never have the courage to do during daylight hours.

But other times you're fully aware and embarrassed by that awkward thing you just did.

7) When some of your friends are acting a little too crazy and you're starting to worry about being seen with them.

8) There are a lot of selfies and group pictures. Some taken at very socially unacceptable times.

9) When you're crush says "hi" to you first and you're just like "Who, me?" and you get all smiley to yourself.

But when you see them hooking up with someone else your whole world suddenly comes crashing down around you.

10) When you go to a party and it's full of sloppy freshmen.

11) When you're at a new bar where you're unfamiliar with the drink specials.

12) When you meet a random person who turns out to be from the same hometown as you.

13) The moment of sheer panic, anger and confusion when you realize that you can't find your friends.

Eventually of course you do find them again and what a blissful reunion it is.

14) You marvel at the outfits some other girls wear out, especially as the weather gets colder. While it's easy to make snarky comments, you're actually a little jealous that they can pull that off.

15) When you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and you realize how ratchet your hair is and that your makeup is smeared all down your face. 

16) When you're upset about something and your friend asks what is wrong, you either lie about it like this...

...or completely fall apart like this.

17) When some group of girls try to cut in front of you in the line for the bathroom because they "have to go really bad."

18) And by the end of the night you really just start speaking your mind no matter if it even makes sense or not.

19) When you text your hookup buddy and you think you're being all smooth like...

...but it comes off more like...

20) When your friends want to hit up another party but you know its your bedtime.

21) The chances of you stopping by one of the campus all night diners rockets exponentially if you're going home alone. But hey, cheese fries are just as good in bed, right?

22) Sometimes you have awesome conversations with fellow students in the pizza line. So many new friends.

23) There might be a lot of unexplained questions in the morning.

24) And maybe even some unexpected bruises.

25) But you'll have lots of great stories to tell your friends even if they are a little embarrassing

26) And you'll be counting down the days until you can do it all over again.
