Going back to college after being home all summer in the nest that is your hometown is literally the most glorious feeling ever. Sure you'll miss your family and a few good friends but nothing compares to the sweet freedom of college.
First, there is moving in into a new house for the year with possibly new roommates, and wondering if they'll accept your weird quirks and habits.
Then of course when you get to see your friends for the first time in three months.
And you get to hangout all day every day and be the freaks that you are together.
And then the darties/day parties/dages start back up again and you can drink at 11 a.m. without your parents staring at you concerned.
You can start acting like the ridiculous savage that "school" you is, because "home" you just isn't as wild
.
And your friends will probably be savages with you because let's face it, your hometown get-to-gethers have nothing on your college parties.
Then you realize it's syllabus week and you can be a degenerate for 7 whole days of no real school work.
And you make some questionable decisions with probably last semester's prospect.
You'll get to play with the mass amounts of puppies and kittens that just seem to appear in people's houses at college.
And then you'll have to deal with seeing all the people you hated and enjoyed avoiding for a while.
But in the end you realize just how happy you are to be back with your idiot friends, copious amounts of cheap beer, and the freedom only college can bring.
