"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!- Malachi 3:10 (NLT).

So many times in life I have come across people who don’t put their faith in God. As Christians we are called to spread and teach the amazing word of God. I am not perfect and nobody is, but no matter what happens I trust that God will be there through the tough times.

God has come through for me and my family more times than I can count. He leads me through tough decisions when I don’t know what to do, because God not only wants what is best for me but He wants what is best for everyone. God is amazing and every chance I get to teach his word I take because I have experienced nothing better in this life than his grace. He blesses everyone in some way or another.

I thank him all the time for things that he has blessed me with like the ability to play the sport I love! Some may think that sports have nothing to do with God but they really have a lot to do with God. He doesn’t care if you win or lose, but he does care that you put your faith in him when participating in that sport.

He wants you to do the best you can in everything you do and give him the glory. If people put their faith in God He will bless them in ways they never thought possible. I will keep putting my faith in God because I know no matter what he will come through for me!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
