There's Nothing My God Is Not Capable Of.

I've got a lot of problems, but my God ain't one.

There's Nothing My God Is Not Capable Of.

Life gets tough, and we all face trials and tribulations. But those trials and tribulations are not what define who we are. It is how we handle them and who we look to that defines us.

We may think that a problem we encounter is "too much" to "bother" God with, but boy are we wrong. We have a God that is capable of anything. Anything that you are facing in your life God is already aware of and he has already planned the outcome. However, God does not just remove your problems. You must believe in him, you must trust him and listen to him, and finally you must realize that God is in control. The saying that "everything happens for a reason", is true. There is not a single obstacle that we encounter that does not have some kind of effect or lesson on how our lives will play out.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

Trusting God is the only way to overcome. There is no way that we could take care of all the situations that we encounter. But, God can. He is bigger than any problem, and he will remove any mountains that may stand in our paths. God is there for us, and all he asks that we do is to believe in him. Believe in him and your life will be easier, believe in his ways and your paths will be led straight.

"The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him." Exodus 15:2

It amazes me that a God so big, and so strong only asks a little favor of us, his children. He only asks us to believe in him. Just by believing in him, he blesses us and he saves us. Life gets hard and we turn away from God, but that is the complete opposite of what we are supposed to do. We are to run to God ALWAYS. When we are happy we are to seek God, when we are sad we are to seek God. It's easy to acknowledge God when things are going great. But it's when things get hard and are faith is being tested that we must learn to seek God.

"This is what the Lord says: 'Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord'."

When the going gets tough, go God! There is so much peace, so much comfort, and so many answers through God's word alone. Trusting him as the center of your heart, and realizing all his great works and mercies will help you through any obstacle.

Always remember there is nothing that our God cannot fix. He heals the sick, he mends the broken hearted, and he loves unconditionally. Seek God always, and your paths will be straight and your heart will be full.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
