Dear Mom,
I know we might not always see eye to eye at times, or we might not always get along all the time, but without you, I would be nothing. You are more than my mom; you're my hero. You have gone through hell and back with your sickness and with all that's happened to you. You may feel as though we (Christopher, Bradley and I) don't appreciate you, but trust me, we do more than you know. I realize more and more how much you do for us now that I'm on my own at college.
Thank you for waking me up for school and making sure I always went with a stomach full and a lunch packed. Thank you for giving me the best education I could've gotten no matter what the price was. It may have taken me longer to realize it, but you just wanted the best for me. Thank you for making sure I made it on time to every cheer practice, soccer game, and softball game.Thank you for always having my back when Dad gets angry at me, and for talking him out of my punishments (hehehe). Thank you for never judging me for anything I tell you and always having a ear to listen to me. Most of all, thank you for your unconditional love.
There are times when we argue, and we don't speak. We used to not get along well, and that caused us to bicker. The reason being that you're very stubborn, and as much as I hate to say it, I am too. But what can I say? I get it from my momma. But without you being by my side to pester me about my health or annoy me with your articles every day about what I'm eating, I know that I would miss that terribly if anything were to happen to you.
Being at college and not having my mom to hold my hair back when I get sick and I'm throwing up, or whenever I just need a home-cooked meal is tough. It sucks not having you here. We may not always agree with each other, and both of us are very stubborn and argumentative, but know that when I'm angry or upset with you, I couldn't imagine having a better mom than the one God blessed me with. You'll always be my number one fan and best friend. Thank you for all you've done for me and all you continue to do.
Love you more momma.
XOXO
