Since 13 Going On 30 made its debut in 2004, I have decided that when I grow up, I will be Jenna Rink-- big time magazine editor. To me, this movie isn't just a source of entertainment, it is the holy grail that leads me down my path of life. Ever since I was introduced to Jenna Rink and her life as a Poise Magazine executive editor, I've wanted to be a photojournalist. Not only does she have a kick-ass job, killer closet, and incredible NYC apartment, but she's also quirky and sassy and all the things I want to be in life. Now of course, this is a huge goal to accomplish, but if I could somehow capture the following essences of Jenna Rink, I'd live the happiest life.
1. She's always trying to find that 13-year-old girl inside of her.
2. She's not afraid to have a little fun.
3. She knows love isn't easy, but she chases it anyway.
4. She's proud of who she is.
5. She's a tough... bitch.
6. She has the most incredible closet.
7. She isn't afraid to be herself or tell people how she feels.
8. She tells it like it is.
9. She married her best friend...
10. ... and he's a photographer.
11. She gives really great life lessons.
12. She really cares about other people.
13. Her smile makes other people smile.
