Mandi Bartet and I, both Risk Management & Insurance majors, were selected to represent ULM at the 2016 Global Leadership Summit for Beta Gamma Sigma. This is one of the most rewarding experiences I have had thus far in my college career. Although the conference we attended was only four days and three nights, it felt like a lifetime with all of the life-changing friendships we made.

From presentations about ethical leadership to case studies where we had to work with other students from around the world to come up with solutions for businesses, we learned so much. Although the conference was educational, we also had lots of fun and were able to explore Dallas. Since this was my first time there, I was excited to see the city and see what big city life in like in the South.

If you ever have the opportunity to attend the Beta Gamma Sigma Global Leadership Summit, definitely take advantage of that offer because you'll be in for quite an experience!
