When you give a girl big brothers, you give her so many aspects of life you'd never even think about when you only have sisters. Growing up, I was the baby of two older brothers who were eight and 13 years older than I was, so needless to say I had a pretty interesting childhood.
When you give a girl big brothers...
You give her an automatic reason to not bring boyfriends home
Big brothers have a tendency to make fun of you in front of significant others, or worse they threaten the boy when you're not in the room. Watch out for this.
You give her an automatic car ride and jam buddy everywhere she goes
Even if he absolutely doesn't want to take you, he's forced to because your parents don't want to and he's the only one with the license so he's stuck with you. Plus you get to hang out with all his cool high school friends while you're still in lower school.
You give her someone to vent to when mom and dad don't understand
Let's be honest, your brother knows all your deepest secrets whether you want to admit it or not. Especially when you enter college because you don't want your parents to know some of the things you've done, but you know your brothers will understand.
You give her someone to argue and fight with on any subject
Face the truth, you and your brothers bump heads like crazy. I know me and my brothers do a lot, but we still love each other a lot.
You give her an automatic play and sports partner
While this may be true, sometimes playing outside with older brothers doesn't always go as planned....
All in all having big brothers can be the biggest blessing yet the biggest curse there is. I loved growing up with two older brothers because they always took care of me and still do. They're my personal body guards and my built in best friends the older we become.
