A Girls Trip Is Always A Good Idea

In college it can sometimes be a rare experience that we get to go on trips and splurge a little on ourselves, especially without our parents there to fund it, but given the chance, a girls trip with your bestie is ALWAYS the best idea. Girls trips are different from any other vacation you take. I recently took a girls trip to Memphis with my best friend, and it was the best two day vacation EVER!!

First off, the drive on a girls trip is sooo much more eventful than driving with your siblings or parents. I worked for weeks to create a bomb playlist for the almost five hour drive, and we jammed to bops the entire way. You get to gossip about people you went to school with and you get to catch up on each other's lives because in college life is so busy and you don`t always get to talk every day. And you can binge on snacks as much as you want, and no parents can judge you...

Eating out is also a different experience on a trip with your bestie versus a trip with your family. If you go out with your family to eat and there is any young children in your family, that generally limits the restaurants you can visit. There are just some [laces you can`t go, but with just you and your bestie(s), you can go anywhere! It's also totally acceptable to postmate food at midnight, but for some reason parents don't always agree.

Lastly, you create some memories you will have for a lifetime. The trip my best friend and I went on was hands down one of my favorite times between us. We laughed the entire time, made so many new memories we will both remember forever, and decided we`re moving to a city like Memphis one day. I can`t wait for the many more girls trips to come!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
