Because she's always right!

It may sound cliché, but it's the truth: the girl in a relationship is ALWAYS right. Girls have a kind of uncanny intuition. I don't know how or why, but they always seem to know what's right and what's wrong, and they're hardly ever mistaken in their judgment.

"That can't be true. Girls are just unwilling to admit when they've done wrong."

I concede to the idea that girls are stubborn, but who isn't? I know plenty of guys who are stubborn, most of which are close friends of mine. Stubbornness is an innate aspect of our being. Everyone is stubborn, and those who say they aren't most likely defend their claim in a stubborn manner.

Oh, the irony.

Girls and boys are both stubborn. Now that we've clarified that, let's examine why it's more justified for females to be uncompromising than males.

The short answer? GIRLS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT!

Like I said before, girls don't just say things to hear themselves talk. They say things because they want YOU to listen. They want YOU to fully absorb the message being conveyed. They want YOU to use this newfound knowledge positively in future situations.

As someone who's been in a relationship for over 15 months now, I have learned to accept these ideas as facts and not to challenge a woman's authority. Like any couple, my girlfriend and I occasionally argue over stupid stuff. She says something, so I say something back, and she proceeds to retaliate. It's a recurring sequence.

Eventually, however, I almost always come to the realization that what I'm saying is irrelevant, and that continuing to argue will only make things worse.

It's almost like a lightbulb goes off in my head at a certain point. Something I've failed to acknowledge throughout the entirety of our argument suddenly becomes crystal clear. I'm wrong, she's right. Another argument in the books.

Men, I'm not just telling you this to make your significant others happy. This isn't about "letting" the woman be right. It's about knowing she's right and learning to live with it.

I'm keeping this short and sweet. The reason why I decided to discuss this topic is that I've witnessed too many women fall captive to unwavering masculinity. The voices of women all across the world are viewed as obsolete, even in modern times.

We aren't living in the 1800s anymore. This is 2018. Women have just as much, if not more, to offer the world than men do. I bet that if we listened to women more, the world would be a much better place.

I'm forever grateful for my girlfriend. She's taught me things about myself I never knew before and I can't thank her enough. Marirose: my first love and the one who never fails to let me know when I'm wrong. I doubt I'll ever win an argument with Marirose. She's just too damn smart.

Don't make your girl upset or try to bring her down. Watch that butterfly flap her wings. Her potential is limitless.

And remember that she's ALWAYS RIGHT!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
