As I continued to binge-watch "The Office" on Netflix during break, I realized that the characters, specifically Michael Scott and Jim Halpert (sometimes Dwight Schrute), make quite a few statements and facial expressions that easily relate to my life as a college student. I have gathered several gifs from various seasons of The Office that I believe accurately describe every college student's life at some point or another! Take a look:
1. When someone complains about how much work they have:
And that "work" is one essay. Meanwhile, you have three exams, five essays, and two labs due on the same day.
2. When someone finally gets you:
Once you find that person or group of people who just "get you," it is all up-hill from there!
3. When you forget about the homework you had due on Monday:
And you remember Sunday night at 10 p.m.
4. In the middle of midterms/finals:
But somehow we all get through it in the end!
5. The one day you go to the gym:
I swear, I have abs!
6. While writing a paper:
Maybe if I just keep typing, intellectual ideas will appear, and I will reach my word count...
7. During an early morning lecture:
I need coffee ... ASAP!
8. When a professor assigns work over break:
Just do not be that professor. Please.
9. The moment you realize you are disconnected from the outside world:
And you realize you have not watched TV in months ...
10. When you slept through class and see your professor on campus:
Maybe if I look down at my phone, he will not notice.
11. When you receive a care package:
And you feel like "the man" on campus.
