Summer is taking a break, adding internships to your resume, learning a new skill, but most importantly, summer is watching television.

I have been lucky enough to know of Parks and Recreation's existence, and this summer, finally watching all seven seasons.

If I could write poetry, I would write about my love for this hilarious television show.

There are so many aspects of the show that I love -- the story, the jokes, the setting, the actors and actresses, the name, but what I love most are the characters.

The characters, developed to showcase their beautiful personalities and funny quirks. The characters, who become a family with each other and with the people who watch them (creepy, but heartwarming). They are the real reason you should watch "Parks and Recreation."
