Get Over Yourself, Kim Kardashian

If hikers can climb Mt. Everest, you can climb over your big ego.

Over my spring break (March 4-13), Kim Kardashian broke the internet with what was basically a nude photo, only her boobs and va-jay-jay were blocked out, thank the gods. She tweeted it, Instagrammed it, Facebooked it, probably Vined/Periscoped it. But the point is, this photo is now everywhere and it's repulsive.

Know that I am a Kardashian fan. However, I only like Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kris. I despise Kim. I will be one of those people that will say, "Kim only got famous because of that sex tape with Ray J." Let's face the facts, people, she did. I think she's beautiful and takes miraculous photographs, but she's a vile human being. But during this spring break, I was welcomed to news channels, gossip shows, social media, and text messages about Kim Kardashian's nude photo and its backlash on the public. If you haven't seen the photo, here it is:

In regards to this photo, I have a few things to say: First, learn how to tweet. Second, I am pretty sure when people don't have anything to wear, they don't stand in front of the mirror naked and take a "mirror selfie." We are not in 2007 anymore. And the last thing, why don't you have anything to wear?! Did you sell it all to make up for Kanye's debt? You have a closet full of designer clothing -- you can even wear a trash bag and it would be the hottest look of the season.

So, Kim K received a lot of backlash from us average people, but also some celebrities. Bette Midler, Piers Morgan, and Chloe Grace Moretz were some of the many to say something.

Actor Piers Morgan tweeted, "I know the old man's $50 million in debt Kim, but this is absurd. Want me to buy you some clothes?"

Actress/model Chloe Grace Moretz also tweeted, "I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies."

Well, Kim K didn't appreciate other celebrities calling her out on this photo, so she retaliated by tweeting some idiotic tweets.

Pretty ridiculous. When I first heard about these tweets, I really thought the sophisticated businesswoman hadn't written them; I thought Kanye did. Even people like Wendy Williams thought Kanye wrote them. Well, turns out, she actually wrote them.

OK, yes, I never cared for Kim, but I can't help but feel sorry for this woman. She's successful and admired by millions, but somehow a screw came loose and now she's turning into an arrogant idiot like her husband. We have seen photographs of her naked time and time again, and it gets old. Great, you have a fantastic body, but no one cares. You just make people feel worse about themselves when you post these things. Additionally, Kim K posted another nude photo with the hashtag #liberated.

We get it, you're comfortable with who you are, but stop trying so hard. You're an A-list celebrity and you don't need people to gossip about you 100 percent of the time. Take care of your children and get out of debt. The other thing that just sent me over the edge was her recent tweet:

As a celebrity, you should never do this. Do not rub how much money you are making and the fact that you can get out of debt with one snap of your fingers in the public's face. Girl, do you even realize how many people are struggling globally, even at home here in America, and you have the audacity to let that out of your fat mouth and write this tweet? This is why you will forever be a disgusting, vile human being who everyone hates. But, uh, can you send me over maybe $1 million so I can get out my $100,000 student loan debt? Much appreciated.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
