What I've noticed a lot on my campus is that some people take my sass the wrong way. They either take it completely out of the ballpark or just simply don't understand. Well here are my six tips to being sassy. Hopefully with these, one can start to make steps to getting on my level of sass.
1. Don't let the world know that you are beneath it.
If you walk around your campus all timid and shy, thinking that the world is literally on your back--just don't! Be a strong person and walk with your head held high with confidence. You don't want Regina George in the background saying this?
2. Start off small.
When it comes to starting off being sassy, please start off small. If you start off too big and walk up to someone attempting to be sassy on purpose, you will get smacked. It's like the law or something! Do you really want to have your picture taken of your first time being overly sassy, and looking like this? I didn't think so!
3. Try to let it come naturally.
The best thing to do after following the other steps is to try and let it come naturally. If you have to practice on your best friend or even your teacher in the middle of class, have at it! You don't want to overexert yourself too soon. Sass is an art and should be treated with class.
4. Classy, and not too sassy.
As stated in tip #3, sass is an art and should be treated with class. Anyone on the street could simply start being sassy. Their sass, however extent it may be, is weak and not as sophisticated as the practical user. Know when the right moments are and use them then. Just make sure that when you are sassy, keep it classy!
5. Create complete and utter chaos.
Sometimes, while following the sassy path, you find the right time to create a little chaos. When you feel like the right moment is there, create it! Now please don't turn your college campus into the "jungle" scene from Mean Girls. Believe me when I say this -- I will be there to dethrone you.
6. Take the throne.
Now that you are hopefully following all of these tips, you should have enough under your belt to start making a path for your road to ruling. The sass kingdom is a delicate thing. One day you could be the King/Queen of sass, and the next you can be throwing it around in the middle of the road and then...
