Do you ever feel like you’re just going through the motions? We were meant for more than just floating through life. We were meant to be alive on this everlasting adventure called life in Christ. The God of the universe raised us from death to life and if that isn't a reason to live your life fully alive, I don't know what is.
He is such a good Father, yet we all to often get used to His goodness. It’s not fresh to us anymore. I don’t know about you, but I want to be renewed every morning of his goodness.
This summer I worked at this incredible place in Northern California called JH Ranch. Something took away from this summer is that you cannot put God in a box. We cannot exaggerate his goodness, his love, and his faithfulness. It is so much more than we can even manage to fathom in this world.
He delights in us, broken people. This blows my mind. The God of the universe loves me and you PERFECTLY. We are so underserving, but our posture is to have open hands and say, “Yes, Lord. I want you above all else.”
Activate his Spirit inside of you. We can live in joy. We can live in freedom. We can live in peace. It’s in us already! We just have to say yes to Him! But what holds us back from this? FEAR. But you know what, there’s NO fear in His PERFECT love. The best part is that, thanks to Jesus there’s NO STRIVING in His love. So let’s step in to His love today and every morning and renew our mind with TRUTH:
-I am free in Christ (Galatians 5:1)
-I am loved by His perfect love (1 John 4:18)
-The God of the Universe adores me (John 3:16)
-The God of the Universe will NEVER leave or forsake me (Deuteronomy 3:6)
-I am a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17)
-I am not afraid (Isaiah 41:10)
-I am at peace (Philippians 4:7)
-I am joyful (1 Peter 2:8-9)
-I am redeemed (Isaiah 41:3)
-I am His (Isaiah 43:1)
Let’s take confidence that He will NEVER fall of His throne!
Let’s get of the bench, get in the game, and say with open hands, “Lord, game on. Use me!” Let’s rest in his perfect love and make His love our home and be transformed for evermore.
He’s making all things beautiful and new, taking us from glory to glory!
