I remember being six years old and watching my pretend best friend on television. She was completely relatable. Her name was Stephanie Tanner from "Full House."
I grew up with Michelle, Stephanie, and DJ. I watched reruns almost every day after school. In that last episode when Michelle lost her memory, I was pretty much heartbroken that there were no more episodes to watch.
Well now, Netflix is fulfilling a dream of mine. A continuation of "Full House" is coming to the streaming site with the title "Fuller House," and I know that I am not the only person who was jumping up and down inside when I found out.
I know that this won't be the same as the "Full House" I grew up with, but I cannot wait to see Steph and DJ all grown up. Unfortunately, Michelle won't be joining them, but hey, we take what we get.
If you are just as excited as me about this, check out this trailer:
But wait! That isn’t all. "Gilmore Girls" — the initiation of my intense coffee obsession is also coming back for a new season on Netflix.
For anyone who knows "Gilmore Girls," knows how great Lorelai and Rory Gilmore are. How do you not love someone named Lorelai? I cannot wait to see where the characters are up to now. I am looking forward to seeing where Ms. Gilmore ended up, after completing an undergraduate degree from Yale, or if Lorelai and Luke ever get anywhere with their roundabout relationship. Also, whatever happened to Lane’s super strict mother who had a problem with chocolate and great music? All of these cliff hangers are something Gilmore Girls fans have to look forward to.
So prepare yourselves folks, for four 90 minute blocks of childhood memories flowing right back with the Gilmores!
I hope that next there will be a revival of "That’s So Raven" or "Lizzie McGuire." Now those, I would definitely watch.
