They're back!
And fuller than ever.
You already know about the return of the original series "Full House" in its sequel "Fuller House," and boy, has it sparked the '90s kid in all of us! From Stephanie's, "How rude!" to Uncle Jessie's, "Have mercy!" to Joey's, "Cut it out!" this show has, without a doubt, touched many hearts around the world. Why else would writer and producer Jeff Franklin agree to make this long-awaited sequel a reality? Because of all of us, the amazing fans!
The show is actually going to premiere on Netflix in the summer of 2016 (as if our Netflix obsession wasn't bad enough). In the past couple weeks, some of the stars have given us visual proof of the first episode in action, including John Stamos (Uncle Jessie), Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), and Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky).
Aired on September 22, 1987, the first episode of "Full House" was titled Our Very First Show. Lori Loughlin let fans know the name of the pilot episode for the sequel: Our Very First Show, Again. Oh, the memories. You might want to re-watch the original first episode when the new premiere gets closer!
Lori also celebrated her 51st birthday on July 28 and Instagrammed this birthday card signed by her fellow cast-mates! Look closely, and you can see Dylan and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit's signature, which is none other than Aunt Becky's twin boys, Nicky and Alex.
John Stamos also joined in the Instagram celebration of Lori's birthday. Can we just take a moment to realize that Aunt Becky is now 51 years old? Ladies, let's all hope we grow up to look as hot as Aunt Becky does. Also celebrating in John's photo is Bob Saget and Dave Coulier.
The couple of all couples is also returning! "Together Forever," queue the tears. I don't care what you say, you know you always wished Lori and John were together in real life. They're just that perfect.
Candace also Instagrammed her excited/nervous face for the lucky ones who were able to attend as a live audience. Her on-show ex-boyfriend, Steve, is also returning, but fans aren't quite sure why! Guess we'll be exchanging glances with Cameron until we find out!
According to IMDB, "Fuller House" is going to star most of the original characters, including Bob Saget, John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, Andrea Barber, Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit, Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, and Scott Weinger.
DJ Tanner returns as a newly widowed veterinarian. She is pregnant with her third child and is now single-handedly raising her two sons, a 12-year-old named JD and a 7-year-old named Max. She seeks the help of her younger sister, Stephanie Tanner, who is an aspiring musician, and her lifelong best friend, Kimmy Gibbler, who is also a single mother of a teenage daughter named Ramona. The three ladies move into the Tanner household we all know and love, and it's only a matter of time before we see how this heartwarming family reunites on our Netflix screens! Over 20 years later, and our dreams are finally coming true. Stay tuned for the premiere of Our Very First Show, Again in the summer of 2016.
