Jesse and Jeana,

First and foremost, I want to say I’m sorry. This has got to be one of the hardest moments of your life. Not only are you both taking a giant step in a direction you never thought you would, but you have to share it with the world. And that has to be even more difficult.

Second, I hope you both get through this. You have made the world so happy with your videos – and through that you have faced stormy weather without letting any of your fans know what was going on. You have both done so much for your fans, and that includes risking your own personal happiness. Whether or not you two decide to get back together, I hope you overcome these difficult times. You both deserve to find happiness, whether it’s together or apart.

Don’t worry about us. You have done too much for your fans, and in your video you both expressed that you don’t want to make us upset, and just making that video tore you apart. Don’t give us a second thought. Take care of yourselves. We will be okay no matter what you decide.

Yes, this is sad for everyone, but this isn’t about the fans. This is about you. So take this time to heal from whatever wounds the two of you may have. Fix your personal life. If you don’t come back to us, it’s okay. We will be okay. But we want you to be okay, too. You have given us years of your life and it’s time to take a break from sharing your life with us, and that is perfectly fine. Everybody needs a break sometimes, and you should not have to risk your happiness for anybody.

Lastly, we do care about you. While, yes, we loved your videos, we aren’t just in it for the good times. We love you both. Your video made me cry – both times that I watched it. Writing this letter made me cry. Your fans do care about you as people. And we will support anything you decide to do. Don’t think you have to explain anything to us. Just take care of yourselves and focus on your lives and making yourself happy. Because, in the end, that is what is going to truly make us happy – you two being happy.

Whatever the two of you do, do it with happiness. We love you. We support you. And you don’t have to worry about us. Thank you for giving us the past seven years of your life.
