Transitioning into the next phase of your academic life -- for instance, going from high school to college -- can be very intimidating. It is scary to go from one extreme to another. At this stage in your life, you find a lot out about who your are as a person. You grow and evolve so drastically in such a short amount time. So many things change and change is never easy. In fact, it's terrifying!
For all my friends whom I graduated with, I often think about the good times we shared in our high school days. We shared good laughs and made some wonderful memories. I know I don't talk to all of my high school friends, anymore. But I think that is part of growing up and moving out. People just grow apart and that's OK. However, I still frequently think of you all and miss the great times we shared together. I wish all of you all the luck and success in the world. For my high school friends who I continue to keep in touch with, I am very glad to have the friendships we have. No matter how far apart we are, we always manage to pick up right where we left off. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for us.
For all my friends who are still in high school, I also think about you and remember the good times and laughs we had together. I know we don't see each other as often and it is harder for us to keep in touch. Especially when you start to live on your own in the real world. Some of you will realize this in two years or even in a matter of months. However, this does not mean I have forgotten about you. I think of you guys all the time and hope that you are enjoying high school. You can always reach out to me whenever you want, but I will also make an effort to reach out to you whenever I have the chance.
I will always cherish the friendships and people I knew in high school. You were the reason why I enjoyed school and had fun. I will also always care for my high school friends as well as remember every moment we had!
