Friends. They come and go; I've lost many friends for petty, unimportant things, and I've gained friendships that will last a lifetime. I have friends that I may go a very long time without talking to and we can pick up right where we left off. Distances just makes a friendship grow stronger. A friend defined by Websters is: a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection. That makes sense we pick this human and we begin that circle of trust, almost how we would pick a pet, we love them and show affection towards each other. My friends are all uniquely great, they have their quirks and differences which makes them my friends, but I just wanted every single one of them to know that I will be there for you when the rain starts to pour, because you'll be there for me too. I just want you all to know a few things.
1. I'm always going to be here for my friends, even if my phone is on disturb, just call me twice in a row and I will answer.
2. If I'm doing something that annoys you talk to me so we can sort it out.
3. I will always be down for ice cream or cheesecake if you are having a bad day.
4. If we wanna Netflix and no chill I'm down for that.
4. Let's always go on adventures, even if they are last minute planned, because they make the best memories. (Rhinos)
5. When I'm being a sarcastic jerk all the time you can tell me to tone it down a little bit. If you are being too much of a sarcastic jerk, I will let you know as well.
6. I will always be down to car sing to the highest volume when we are tone deaf and try to act like we can sing.
7. When I say you kill my soul, or that you are the reason I have no soul left, it's my way of saying I love you.
8. My life is a hot mess, so thanks for being able to handle it and myself.
9. I will always be honest with you, even if it may hurt your feelings. I don't mean to, I just want you to know.
10. Thanks for being my friend even though I'm not the nicest sometimes and can be a total and complete mess and sometimes I'm annoying and other times I'm great and other times you can't stand me but thanks for always being around and being my friend no matter what.
Friendship is important factor in my life, without my friends I really question where I would be in life. I have my friends within family, school, my sorority sisters, and of course my best friends and sometimes all of those are wrapped into together. I'm blessed to have an amazing support system no matter where I may go, because life can get uncomfortable and sometimes it's good to have people by your side to help you through it. So make sure you have friends that are always willing to be down for adventure and are there to help you through the craziness that may be your life just like mine, because life is a journey, where it takes us, I have no clue, may the destination be as great as the life has been.
