May 5th was an exciting but later depressing day to any fan of the hit sitcom Friends. It was posted on Facebook by David Schwimer that "It has been made official back for ONE more season #Theonewheretheycomeback #Friends". It was shared by thousands and hopes were rising. However, it was later revealed that it was all a hoax.
The first giveaway clue was who posted it: David Schwimer. The actor who plays the goofy yet lovable character Ross Geller is David Schwimmer. It was discovered that someone created a fake Facebook account, with David Schwimmer's name spelled wrong, and photo-shopped an image that made it seem like there was a reunion in our midst. Also, if there was going to be an announcement for a reunion show, it would have been made by the TV channel that was going to air the reunion, not one of the main actors.
Dear supposed David Schwimer, wherever you are out there, you messed with the wrong fans.
