'Friends' Characters As If They Were Cookies

Everyone knows and loves the characters of 'Friends' and their distinct personalities. These people almost made us believe that we were friends with them through their proximity and humor. Additionally, everyone loves or at least likes cookies. They're something you grew up eating them just as we grew with these characters throughout the ten seasons the show aired. Let's see how the characters measure up with our favorite cookies.

Monica Geller: Sugar Cookie

Monica is sweet and neat. She is easily a likable character with a witty sense of humor and an energetic personality. She hates messes or anything that’s disorganized. Sugar cookies are sweet and well-liked, just like Monica. They are neat, clean cut, and down to the point. They are simple yet delicious.

Ross Geller: Samoa

The cookie dude! Ross is complex and intelligent. He is often identified as an outlier, and can sometimes be hard to relate to. Usually, viewers come to like him, but only after getting to know him. However, at times, Ross can be just as free-spirited as the rest of the gang. Samoas are interesting cookies. Their ingredients consist of coconut, chocolate, and caramel. It’s a combination you wouldn’t necessarily go for right off the bat, but once you take a bite, they’re pretty good.

Rachel Green: Macaroon

Rachel Green is the “pretty girl” of the gang. She is known to be popular, well-liked, and chic. In addition, Rachel is a funny character and a good friend. She has an eye for fashion and is very versatile. Much like her, macaroons are chic, popular, and versatile. They come in various flavors and colors, which also could allude to Rachel’s fashion sense. They are a trendy food that oftentimes appears on social media, as Rachel probably would have if Instagram were a thing in the 90s.

Joey Tribbiani: Chocolate Chip Cookie

Joey is the clown of the group and is also known to be a ladies man. He is a very well liked and warm character. Joey is a crowd favorite due to his impeccable humor and relatable personality. Joey is the epitome of a chocolate chip cookie. These All-American treats are the most popular of their type. They are warm, simple, and delicious. Chocolate chip cookies are everyone’s favorite.

Phoebe Buffay: Sprinkle M&M Peanut Butter Cookie

Phoebe is definitely a unique and unpredictable individual. She beats to her own drum and is always getting herself into new and interesting situations. She is colorful and bright, and quite honestly, a bit strange. Sprinkle M&M Peanut Butter Cookies burst with color and radiance. These cookies are sweet but also have a little something extra in them. They are an interesting mix but ultimately result in a pretty good cookie.

Chandler Bing: S’mores Cookie

Chandler Bing is constantly making jokes about himself in a self-loathing manner. Although this occurs often, it’s hard not to love him. Bad things are always happening to Chandler, which is normally pretty funny, but sometimes you can’t help just feeling for the guy. S’mores cookies are just a mess, just like Chandler’s life. The marshmallow, chocolate, and sometimes caramel is a lot to handle. They’re amazing while you’re eating them, but they kinda make you hate yourself after, kind of like all of Chandler’s jokes.

This might just make you want to binge watch some episodes while devouring your favorite cookies.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
