To My College Friend Graduating

Best friends are like stars on a cloudy night, you may not see them but they are always there, through thick or thin their friendship will always shine bright.

To My College Friend Graduating

The biggest blessing that you can ever get is having someone in your life that can mentor you through either high school or college. This person is someone that teaches you basically how to act, but how to still have fun. They do not judge you for your decisions, but they help you out when you make bad ones. One of the saddest parts of high school and especially college is seeing your friends go so many different ways in life after they graduate. You want to tell them to stay, yet you're happy to see them to successful. So here's to you all graduating.

Change is a Good Thing

When you leave, always remember why you went there in the first place. Change can be distracting, but you're working towards something that means so much to your future. Remember why you started and remember when it gets tough, which it will, it is going to be worth it.

Thank you for being my Big Brother

Although I never attended Ferris to join a sorority and be your "sister" you guys will always be my brothers from the great life talks and lesson I've learned from being around you. No matter what, I know you'll always be a phone call or silly snapchat message away.

Thanks for the Late Night grocery store runs

"I want a cute hat to hide my bad hair day", "How many bottles of champagne are we going to need for tonight?", "Lady you better move before I run you over with my car!", "Blinkers are overrated in Big Rapids." It seems like everytime I volunteer to go to the grocery store with the Guys from the house; it turns into a new adventure. Thanks for the laughs on the 4 minute drive to walmart.

For Never losing me at Oakwood

Man oh man... where do I even begin with Oakwood? We've mad many memories there and I as I sit here typing this; there's a grin on my face. The countless bonfires, people watching, and overall good times. I couldn't have picked a better partner in crime for Ferris Fest.

With Graduation a few weeks away and part two of Ferris Fest in full swing this weekend. I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how proud I am. I'm so glad to have made a lifelong friend even though I live three hours away.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
