To the most open minded, kind hearted person I know,
I cannot name a moment when you have not been there for me. Our friendship started out as just a simple “hi” when I saw you on campus but now I want you to be my bridesmaid at my future wedding. You are a breath of fresh air, and even though we might not talk every day, you are still one of my closest friends. You push me to be the best person I can be. I have had a lot of great friends, but no friend has shaped me into the person I am more than you. You are the best listener, and sit through my long rambles and give the best advice of anyone I know. You don’t sugarcoat things, and I think that is one of the best things about you. You are honest with me even when I don’t want to hear it. You are tough but incredibly optimistic.
You are truly one of my biggest supporters, and constantly remind me that you are there for me no matter what. You are the person I call on a whim if I need a friend to talk to or just simply need a laugh. You are my car ride jam out session partner and one of those people that if I am going to hang out with, I know it’ll be a good time. You made me more adventurous and outgoing. You taught me to be confident and not shy away from challenges or obstacles. Your own confidence and unbeatable personality make you one of the greatest friends I have ever had. You told me that I deserve the world and to not settle for anything less, however, you need to take a page from your own book. So this is me pleading to you to never let a boy make you upset, or have anyone ever put you down because YOU deserve the world! In all honesty, boys are intimidated by you because you are truly the whole package. Be patient please, and don’t settle unless he is truly the best (I will be the judge of that). You’re drop dead gorgeous too, it’s kind of unfair. You are incredibly strong and genuinely a beautiful soul. You make me want to be the best me possible, and I truly believe that you are the human version of sunshine. You are an inspiration and a motivation to anyone around you, and anyone who isn’t friends with you should be kicking themselves.
So thank you for reminding me to always, always laugh, even if it's on yourself, and to never take life too seriously. You remind me that time moves fast and life is too short, so whatever it is, do it. Thank you for listening to me always and giving me your input even if it's what I don’t want to hear. Thank you for supporting me in absolutely anything that I do. Friends like you are extremely hard to come by but I guess I got lucky. You are such a unique person that I have the pleasure to know, and there need to be more people like you in this world. You make me a better person.
