A Freshman Year Poem

It's crazy to think how quickly things go.

Just like spring break felt, extremely fast yet ever so slow.

Just a few months ago we were brand new,

And now we know exactly how to get through.

It has been the quickest year to ever go by,

And now I’m praying summer flies.

From the late nights,

To the beautiful city lights.

This is now our home

The streets still unknown.

A thank you to our teachers,

Who probably think we are some weird creatures.

The dreaded hours of homework,

Will be ever so worth it.

Freshman year, thank you.
