A Fresh Start

This fresh start changed my life for the better.

A Fresh Start
Personal

Getting the chance to have a fresh start is probably one of the best things in the world. I honestly needed one. God gave me the chance to have one and I'm so blessed and so thankful that He did.

I started going to a new school this year and it was truly one of the best things that has ever happened to me. When I first started I was scared and nervous for the first couple of weeks. Everyone was so nice and had open arms though, and I have never met people like that before in my life.

I'll be the first to tell you that it's not easy starting a new school when you don't know anyone. You really just don't know what to expect. It's hard trying to make new friends. I have always been a really outgoing person, but sometimes it's hard to be outgoing when all you really want to be is shy. You just have to know that this is the place you need to be.

If I didn't get this chance at a fresh start, I honestly think my life would be falling into pieces. I am so grateful for the people who have come into my life these past few months, and of course, I'm thankful for you, mom. I'm always thankful for you.

These people have made a big impact on my life, even though I've only known them for a few months. I feel like I have known them my whole life. They make me feel that way. I could not have asked God to bring better people into my life than the ones I have now.

A fresh start is letting go of the past and making peace with your demons. It is a chance to make your future the best you can make it. By starting with a fresh start, you could change the rest of your life.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
