With a new year comes a new semester. This means a fresh start for everything. You've recently been on a break so this means you've most likely had some quality rest and relaxation. This gives you a clear mind to go into the new semester. All the stuff clogging your mind from the past was left in the last year, leaving you with a fresh perspective. This is a great place to be in because you never know what this new year could hold for you.The new year also means new classes. All the stress and worry and maybe even bad grades from the past are left in the past. You get a clean slate to start over and be the best you can possibly be. Along with this new semester comes new opportunities, new boys, new friends, and an overall clean slate.
If you're a neat freak like me, the start of the semester is the best for you. It's all about organizing your new schedule, classes, and getting ready for what's to come. This means endless organizing in your calendar with a different colored pen to create a rainbow. This part is the best because you get to organize your life into one little book, all while making it aesthetically pleasing.
Along with new classes comes the opportunity to better yourself and set new goals and standards. You know what you're capable of and regardless of what happened in the past, this is a chance to reinvent the way you study, when you complete your work, and how you complete your work. With a good mindset, you can achieve anything and exceed your goals. The more positive you think, the better your outcome will be.
This new year is also a chance to leave drama from the past in the past. That dumb boy that momentarily broke your heart a little, forget about him. That friend that you got in a stupid fight about, laugh it off and move on. Literally, anything that occurred before this moment that is still weighing on your shoulders, just let it go.
