Everyone goes through phases in life when they meet new people, and unfortunately, lose people as well. Meeting new people is such an amazing feeling because you get to learn so many new things that you never knew about someone. You also have one extra person to be your friend. However, losing friendships is also a struggle. You lose someone that you once made memories with, but sometimes it needs to be done.

Everyone deserves to start fresh in their life and only surround themselves with positive people who only bring out the best in them. The whole point of life is to live it to the fullest, so why surround yourself with such negative energy? Only surround yourself with the ones that appreciate and accept you for who you are.

Appreciate those that have stuck around with you for a very long time, or even your most recent friends. Make sure their efforts never go unnoticed. Thank them for all they have done for, and that will continue for a long time. If they are clearly there for you, then you should also be there for them.

If someone doesn't love/appreciate you for being you, then they aren't a true friend. A true friend doesn't control how you live your life. A true friend doesn't put all of the blame on you. If this happens, then that person is not a true friend. Time has little to do with friendship. No one shouldn't be friends with someone simply based off of the fact of how long they have known them. Friendship should have to do with so many other traits besides time.

When this does happen, create a fresh start. Sit back and actually realize who has been there and who hasn't. Sit back and think about all the people who control you or even judge you for living your life. No friend should pass judgment on you because you are living your life to only please yourself.

Once you realize who has/hasn't been there for you, then you can clearly see your true friends. Sometimes it's sad to realize someone hasn't truly been who you thought they were, but that is just a part of life. You pick yourself back up and simply create a fresh start.

Create a new start for yourself, and not anybody else. Create this new beginning for YOU. Live your life to impress yourself, and not others. It's okay to create new beginnings and start fresh sometimes. These are just new chapters in the book we call life and you deserve every bit of it.
