A Typical College Student's Weekend

There are so many things to do during the weekend. You can could go shopping, go out to dinner, watch some Netflix and may be even have a little chill — and so much more. But there is one thing that almost every college student does on the weekends. Party. It's the No. 1 thing to do on the weekend during college. We’ve all been to at least one in our college years. It's the thing to do when you’re trying to have fun with friends and enjoy the night and make tons of memories. Every weekend, there is some house throwing down. You ask about 20 different people if they know who is having a party and what time it starts. Then you try and make the list if you still can. Otherwise, you hope for the best. You'll go out when its crazy hot or if it's freezing — either way, you're going out. In the end, they're pretty much all the same from getting ready, getting home and everything in-between.

The night starts of by find out who even having a party.

So you ask around and see if your friends have any clue whats going on.

Your group creates a plan on when to go to each party to have the maximum amount of fun, and you’re excited.

Then it's time to do your hair and makeup, if you're a chick, but more important find an outfit that goes along with the theme, if there is one.

It’s then time to start pre-gaming with some your friends.

You'll most likely make your way over to another pre-game with even more people and find out everyone is out of control at this point.

But you keep a lookout for the RA because everyone is out of control, and it's only a matter of time until the RA is summoned by the noise.

You pour one last drink before you go out to make sure you don't sober up.

When you start making your way to the first party, you realize that your group is wasted and not sure if you'll make to the first party of the night.

The first house you get to is not lit because no one is there yet.

But your friends and you are.

The next house you make it to is so crowded, it’s hot, the floor is sticky, you’re getting pushed and you find yourself tripping over everything and everyone or nothing at all.

The circle then forms and you start dancing with all your friends...

...to realize awkward guys are watching you waiting to come dance with you and give you some lovin'.

Before you know it, some guy is all up on you, and you hope that he’s cute.

To find out when you turn around, he’s all sweaty and gross.

You’ll wait in bathroom line a mile long so your friends can pee.

You’ll find that you begin to house party-hop and every single one is the same and you don't care.

After while, you get bored and head back to your room and find yourself ordering pizza of some kind.

When you wake up the next morning, everyone wakes up feeling awful.

And you try to piece together the night.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
