To my best friends,
Thank you for being one of the best things that have ever happened to me.
I’m so incredibly grateful to have you in my life. You have held me through my first semester of college and for that, I am so thankful. While we’ve only been friends for a little while I know that our friendship will continue to grow and flourish. I am so proud of all you have accomplished this far and all that you will accomplish in life.
Being able to stand next to you and walk, run, and dance our way through life together is the most amazing feeling in the world. Screaming to Jamie All Over and The 1975, and our Friday night date nights, or Lizzie McGuire Marathons will always be my fondest memories. Dancing around concerts in our matching outfits and laughing when I fall to the ground out of sheer embarrassment will forever make me laugh.
Spontaneous hair colors, and trips to the mall, jeep hoodies, and ice cream will be my favorite Saturdays, and chicken nuggets and french fries ( nugs and fries) and crafting till 5:30 am will be our friendship staple. I have never met a person so similar to me until I have met you. I’ve always had a hard time making and keeping friends, whether they be fair weather or just people I don’t mesh well with. You’ve pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best ways possible. I know we will only have more adventures of makeovers, spontaneous hair dying, random Chik-Fil-A and Sushi dates and I can’t wait to see what other adventures we inevitably go on.
Our pasts, presents, and futures will always be weirdly intertwined and I’m so excited to see what a lifetime with you will bring. People always gush about their soulmate and how they knew the second they met them that they were the one, but one thing people don’t speak about is how that very same phenomenon happens with best friends. You are the most beautiful soul on the planet and I’m not just saying that because we’re two peas in a pod. You’re the Varchie to my Bughead, the moon to my sun. We hold each other up and love each other unconditionally and that's all I could ever ask for.
Thank you for coming into my life.
Love always,
Your Forever Friend
