You know who you are, and I am so incredibly thankful for you. I have no idea what I would do without the knowledge that you exist. You understand me more than anyone ever will, and I swear we are just two pieces of the same person. Thank you for loving coffee and Harry Potter even more than me, and for sharing this same love with the world. You make this life a better, brighter place. I really don't think I know anyone as kind or as loyal as you. Yes, you get salty sometimes, but don't we all? No one is perfect, but you are as close as it gets. We've known each other for 5 years now, and that's actually pretty crazy. I remember we shared similar passions, and for whatever reason, I didn't like you. Now, I love you more than I could ever put into words. You are my best friend, without a doubt. Even though we are separated by 180 miles and 3 hours, we are still so close. It doesn't matter that we only talk occasionally because our friendship isn't defined by the parameters of this documentation crazed society. We are bound by a connection greater than texts, although I will always appreciate a good pug picture. You know me even better than I know myself and it is so nice knowing you exist and care because otherwise, I would feel so alone in this world.

I am so proud of you. You have grown so much since I first met you. You are an incredibly beautiful, strong young woman. You are as wise as the owls you admire. I just know you are going to do such great things, and I can't wait to witness all of it. You're already taking this world by storm, and you can only keep going up from here. I can't wait to buy your first book, or visit your coffee shop, or sit-in on your classroom. There are so many opportunities before you, and no matter what you do with your life, you are going to succeed beyond even your own wildest dreams. I'm tearing up now, and I miss you so much. I hope I'm lucky enough to see you soon. If not, don't forget about me and the downfalls in life you've already overcame. You are goals with your cute little house and cat and dog and seeing the pictures fills me with such joy. Whatever my soul is made of, there is a great part that mirrors your own. I could never thank you enough for all that you have done, all that you continue to do for me, and all I know you will do for me. We have grown together, but not apart, and I doubt I would have made it this far without you. So this one's for you, and the unexplainable connection we have.
