I have never seen snow before today. When I woke up this morning, there were two feet of snow on the ground, and I was more than ready to go outside and play like a child again. I threw myself around and attempted at making snowballs (it’s way more difficult than it seems). But here’s my predicted reaction of myself and other Floridians after Jonas rolls through the Northeast.
1. Excitement and joy! You’ve never seen so much white fluffy stuff in your life and the way it is perfectly layered on every surface.

(This was most definitely me at 10 am today.)
2. Extreme exhaustion from the effort it takes just to walk to the Wawa from your dorm room when it is less than 50 yards.

3. Unfortunately, you build sand castles before you build snowballs. You will not be able to hold your own in a snowball fight no matter hard you try. (Yes, even if you play a throwing sport). To be honest, the hardest part is making the ball.via GIPHY
4. I've fallen many times, on purpose and on accident. You can never just walk normally in this stuff; while it seems that this is nothing new to anyone else.via GIPHY
5. And although I haven't experienced this yet, the ice that will eventually come with the gorgeous fluffy powder.

(This will most definitely be me in the coming weeks.)
6. And of course you have to taste it, even if it is just water. It's all about the experience.

(I did this outside of a fraternity house and got some very questionable looks, but I was enjoying myself and hydrating, if you think about it.)7. I did the typical sledding experience and screamed and laughed and fell off.

9. And I know by the time the blizzard is over tomorrow and we have another eight inches of snow, I'm going to be pretty tired of it.

10. Being honest, we will all probably come to the realization that the only weather for us is the weather that stays above 60 degrees.

(And places where it's pretty common to have plastic pools.)
