The time of the year is here where the last few weeks of summer are rapidly approaching. The days are beginning to get shorter, and the back to school commercials are all over TV. Even though summer is something that everyone seems to look forward to all year long, it flies by, and before you know it you're getting out your flannel shirts and boots. It's a time of year full of fun, and everyone stays busy with plans on most weekends and vacations, which is why it goes as quickly as it does. It always seems like there's just never enough summer for your fun, and so you try to make the most of it while you can. So as we look to the next coming weeks where summer fades into fall, here are five things to do for the last five weekends of summer.
1. Go Camping.
One of the best summer past times is taking on the Great Outdoors, especially with friends and family. With just a few weeks left of summer, why not spend some time outside taking on nature?
2. Go on a picnic.
Picnics are another great outdoor activity. Great food and great weather help make some of the best times with people during the summer months. Summer is the optimal time of year to spend outside, so be sure to spend as much time outdoors as you can.
3. Visit a museum.
Why not do something educational to get you back into the rhythm for school? And even if you're not going back to school, museums are a great way to build knowledge in a fun and engaging way.
4. Visit another city.
Traveling is one of the best parts about summer. Everyone loves to take a long weekend during the summertime and spend it traveling with friends a family. There are so many great cities in this country that are within driving distance of one another. So why not spend some time in a new city that you may have never been to before?
5. Take one last trip to the beach.
Of course there's no better way to see off the summer season than by heading back to the place that so much of it centers around. So grab your friends and take one last long weekend down at the shore, it's truly the most fitting way to say goodbye to summer.
Though summer seems to be quickly turing into fall, there's still plenty of time to make the most of these last few weeks. We spend so much time looking forward to the summer, so it's important to make the most of it while it's here. So as the hot summer days begin to turn into cool fall nights, don't forget to spend the last of it with your friends and family making memories that will last you until next summer and beyond.
