For anyone born between July 23rd and August 22nd, your zodiac sign is the Leo represented by a lion. Now, what does this mean for you? Well here are five keen attributes of a Leo that you might just relate to. If you are not a Leo, these might just save your life when you are faced with one of these angry lions.

1. Leos are stubborn.

Leos are set in their ways and are known to be opinionated. When they set out to finish a job they complete it. This level of stubbornness combined with their ambition makes them capable of accomplishing a great deal. If you try to tell a Leo they are wrong, they will fight it. Sometimes they will argue even though they are wrong. If you tell a Leo they cannot do something, they will set out to do it just to prove you wrong.

2. Leos are hot heads.

There is a reason lions are symbolized by a lion, and that is because they are ferocious. Small things get to them, especially when they feel they are not good enough. You do not want to be on the path when a Leo has been triggered. Best thing to do when the lion has been flustered is giving them their space. If you try to make them feel better right away they will just feel weak, and they will not like that.

3. Leos love to be the center of attention.

Leos feel that they are the center of the world and that I the way it should be. Leos love the limelight, and many find a home in the performing arts. They are out-going because they love to have all eyes on them. If a Leo is and with you and it seems like it was out of the blue to consider the fact that you may not be giving them the attention they desire.

4. Love to be the Leader

Leos have a love to lead. This has its upsides and downsides. Although Leos have the ability to take a leadership role, they have a habit to be overbearing. Leos are known to micromanage. If you are put in a group with a Leo just be wary of them taking too much control.

5. Leos have huge hearts.

Leos may be stubborn, controlling, hotheaded, and love to be the center of attention but despite all these traits they love to shower people with affection. Some express this with gifts, others with small acts of kindness. One thing is for certain: A Leo will have you on a roller coaster ride of emotions but in the end it will be a ride worth riding.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
