Now I don't know about you guys, but if there's one band I love, it's Panic! At the Disco. Yeah, you heard me right: Panic! At the Disco. I didn't get into them until the beginning of this year when everyone was blabbing about "Death of a Bachelor," and oh boy, where has this band been all of my life!? As someone who is a major alternative fan (heck, I even produce an alternative show for Pete's sake!), they fit like a glove into my taste! I do have a confession to make though: I love them so much, I've added almost thirty (or seems like!) songs into the show's playlist.
And to all of those going to their concert tonight at Jones Beach or at the PNC Arts Bank Theater in New Jersey in the next few day, I must say I am mad jealous!
So, without further ado, let's stop beating around the bush and let me tell you why I love this man oh-so much!
1. His Vocal Range
Okay, I may not be musically inclined, but apparently his vocal range is four octaves and seven notes - that's pretty freaking awesome for a tenor!
2. His Out of Control Humor
Okay, if you're a true P!ATD, you definitely know he has a Vine career, right!? No? Well, here's a compilation to get you started into what kind of shenanigans he gets into!
3. His Sense of Style
Whether it's the theatrical style of "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" or the experimental style of "Death of a Bachelor," Brendon is always killing it with every album he releases!
4. His Love For Frank Sinatra
Yo, but Brendon is such a die-hard Sinatra fan, he even tatted Mr. Ol' Blue Eyes on his left arm - now that's some pure dedication! He even collaborated with Alternative Press to do a dedication to the legendary jazz musician! If that doesn't convince you enough listen to "Death of a Bachelor" or "Impossible Year" to understand what I'm talking about, I don't know what will!
5. His Awesome Back Flipping Skills
Now if this doesn't amaze you, I don't what will! He's like a little monkey when he does this, and it's pretty awesome. By the way, shout out to all of Twenty Øne Pilots fans out there - he's even done a backflip with Josh Dun!
So shout out to all of my fellow P!ATD fans - y'all are crazy fangirls and fanboys, but hey, we do it for this handsome chap, right? Right!
And if you're not a fan of the band just yet, don't "Panic!" Here are some of my recommendations. in no particular order, just to get you started:
1. Victorious
3. Hallelujah
Go nuts, everyone! Whether you're a newbie to this genre/band, or a fanboy/fangirl from the beginning, I'm sure this band is the perfect ear candy you'll need for this summer!!
