5 Of The Weirdest Guys I Have Encountered On Tinder

Tinder can be a beautiful thing. It is a place where people have found their significant others and fiances. It is a place where single people go to find love. Never the less Tinder is also the perfect place to find the weirdest people and the most awkward situations. Here is a list of my weirdest, awkwardest, and creepiest guys I have found on Tinder.

1. The Guy That Couldn't Understand Why I Wouldn't Have His Baby

One time I had a guy randomly messaging me if I wanted to go halfsy on a baby. While I originally thought it was just some weird failure of a pickup line, when I respectfully declined he couldn't seem to understand why I wouldn't want to have his baby. Even after a few days of conversation on why I didn't want to have a baby at the age of 20, he still didn't quite get why I wouldn't have his baby. It's safe to say we didn't go anywhere.

2. The Guy Who Wouldn't Stop Talking About His Therapist

One night I had a guy message me saying that his therapist said he should try getting out more and meeting people. I have a lot of respect for people who are open about their mental health as I have been to therapy myself. However, anytime he would ask me a question it always started with "My therapist asked me to ask you....". I tried to keep an open mind about this guy because he seemed really nice but after three days of conversation, it felt like I was talking to his therapist and not him.

3. The Guy Who Called Me Four Times and Messaged Me 12 Times in One Hour

My guy friends decided to take my phone one night and mess with this guy on Tinder. The guy started getting really creepy so they blocked him on my account. Then somehow he found me on Facebook and called me 4 times and sent me 12 messages in an hour. They were all creepy sexual messages begging me to come over and how hard he was for me. The messages were some of the creepiest I have ever gotten in my entire life.

4. The Guy Who Sat On His Phone the Entire Date

A few months ago I started seeing this guy who I was talking to on Tinder. He was so fun to talk to through texting and he was super cute. I thought he was the whole package and I was so excited for our date. However, once the date came along I was the only one that tried to carry the conversation. I would try asking him a question or talk about something we had in common and he would look at his phone and just respond with a simple "mhm". Finally, I just stopped trying to talk and the rest of the date involved silence which seemed to go on forever. While this may not seem that bad it was one of the most awkward moments of my life and the worst date I had ever been on.

5. The Guy Who Wouldn't Go On A Second Date With Me Because I Didn't Believe in Love At First Sight

Over winter break I went on a date with a guy who I met off Tinder. We had a lot in common so I thought we'd really hit it off. The conversation was flowing very well and then the topic of love at first sight came up. We were talking about whether or not we believed in it. I told him I didn't and he kept pressuring me to believe in it. He said that us matching on Tinder was proof that love at first sight existed and that if I didn't believe in it then there was no point on finishing this date or going on another.

While these are just a few of the weird, creepy, and awkward guys I have encountered there are plenty more to talk about and plenty more that will come along. What is your creepiest Tinder experience?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
