Last week was the start of fall which means... pumpkins and scarecrows and candy corn. To get into the festive mood, get some friends together, pop some popcorn and watch some of these classic Halloween movies!
1. "Hocus Pocus"
I'm pretty sure this was the first Halloween movie I watched when I was younger, and honestly, it scared the crap out of me. But over the years, it's grown to be a Halloween classic for me and my friends.
2. "Halloweentown" (all of 'em!)
Who doesn't love a good throwback?! The "Halloweentown" series is the reason why my Amazon cart in October is filled with so many Halloween decorations.
3. "Coraline"
I've actually never seen "Coraline," but I know they have some cool scenes, and my friends have said it was scary for a kids' movie. SO, that means, it's perfect for college!
4. "Nightmare Before Christmas"
It's a two-in-one movie - if you love Halloween and you love Christmas, this is the perfect movie for a night in.
5. "Twitches"
Was anyone else only thinking of "Twitches" during the eclipse this past summer??
If you like scary movies, "The Conjuring" series and the "Insidious" series are my favorite scary Halloween movies. Nothing beats a good jump-scare.
