Most may recognize Shailene Woodley from The Secret Life of An American Teenager, but most recently the young actress is featured in Divergent and The Descendants.
She's been promoting herself a lot lately and has said some pretty nutty things during her interviews. Whether you love her or hate her these five things have got to top some of the worst words uttered from a celebrity's mouth.
1. "I'm real, you're real, let's hug it out."
It's like she's happy all the time or something?! I mean who goes up to a complete stranger and says this stuff? So no, Shailene Woodley, I would not like to hug you right now. You can stay on my TV, and I'll stay here on my couch judging you. (Hashtag sorry not sorry.)
2. "It's so refreshing when you only have one pair of jeans to wash."
She says this as she's sporting a thousand dollar dress on Jimmy Kimmel (and Jimmy Fallon...and Chelsea Handler...and David Letterman). When she says this kinda stuff I'm just like "WHAT." You seriously can't tell me that Shailene Woodley walks around in L.A. in one pair of old jeans and doesn't have the closet of a Free People princess.
3. "I gave my house to my grandma."
Super selfless, yes. Super weird, definitely. What twenty-something female actress doesn't need her own home these days?! She claims to "couch surf" at her friends' homes since she's not traveling but come on! How many friends does this chick have? Do they get annoyed by her odd habits? Does she do her laundry (one pair of jeans) at their houses?
4. "I feared the day I had to tell my manager I had to film- I felt so bad!"
When Shailene found out she had earned the main role in Descendants she was apparently employed at American Apparel. AND SHE FELT BAD SHE HAD TO FILM A MOTION PICTURE. She felt bad she had to spend her days acting on a high-budget set and earn millions of dollars. She was afraid to tell her boss she would become even more famous than she was already. Poor girl.
5. "George is a superhuman."
This one isn't really that bad considering he is amazing I'm just 1) jealous she got to work with George Clooney and 2) upset they're on a first name basis and I'm not.
