It's Friday night and you and your friends want to hang out but don't feel like venturing anywhere. Movies are always an easy option and a great way to bond with each other from the comfort of a warm house. Grab some buttered popcorn, delicious candy, cushy pillows, and fuzzy blankets and reserve spots on the couch for the best movie night ever. Whether you enjoy emotional dramas or comedies, this list is sure to have something to suit everyone's tastes.

1. "13 Going on 30"

Jennifer Garner stars as Jenna Rink, a 13-year-old who wishes to grow up after her peers tease her. Little does the young teen realize that her wish will come true and she wakes up in the old of her 30-year-old self. Jenna must navigate the world of adulthood until she finds a way back to reality. Viewers are sure to fall in love with the quirky teen and the ways she stumbles into adulthood while maintaining the mindset of a young girl.

2. "Legally Blonde"

"Legally Blonde" is definitely one of the best chick flicks ever created and remains a timeless classic. Elle Woods, a bubbly girl who loves everything related to fashion, decides to chase after her fiance, Warner, when he breaks up with her and heads off to law school. The free-spirited sorority girl will not settle for another guy and unexpectedly follows him all the way to Harvard. However, Elle does not realize another girl named Vivian has captured Warner's heart, and she does everything in her power to win him back and prove her abilities as a lawyer. This chick flick will leave permanent smiles on faces, and features characters any girl will instantly fall in love with.

3. "She's the Man"

Full of laughs and awkward moments, this movie remains one of my personal favorites. Amanda Bynes stars as Viola, a soccer-loving girl who disguises herself as her brother while he is in London in order to continue playing soccer after her school's team is cut. However, she later becomes part of a love triangle and has to deal with her feelings for Duke (Channing Tatum) while maintaining the character of her brother. Dramatic irony makes this humorous story highly entertaining and will spark desire to re-watch the film immediately after the credits roll onscreen.

4. "Safe Haven"

Nicholas Sparks books-turned-movies are a must-watch for any girl who loves romantic movies. Although his stories often have sad endings, fans generally fall in love with the beautiful stories he writes and his well-developed characters. "Safe Haven" is based on the book of the same name and is a story about a woman named Katie (Julianne Hough) who finds refuge in Southport, North Carolina while on the run from her abusive husband. Katie meets a wonderful widower during her stay that helps her face her past, which eventually comes back to meet her face-to-face. This movie features love combined with suspenseful twists-and-turns that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

5. "The Vow"

Grab a box of Kleenex — this drama is a tearjerker and will touch the depths of your heart. This movie is based on the book of the same name. A girl named Paige slips into a coma after a car accident and retains no memories of what happened in the last year, including falling in love with her husband. This story demonstrates what it means to truly love someone for better or worse, and showcases the talents of Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. Get ready to ride a roller coaster of different emotions during this touching narrative based on the true story of Kim and Krickett Carpenter.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
