Five Child Stars: Where Are They Now?

We all remember them from television shows we watched as a child, but where have they come since then.

We all know that being a child actor is very different that being an adult actor, so how have these child stars managed that transition into adulthood?

1. Blake McIver Ewing

The infamous Waldo from "The Little Rascals" whose main goal was to woo Darla  with his riches. Since "The Little Rascals," he has voiced the character of Eugene Horowitz and appeared as the voice of Menlo on the television series "Recess." Ewing now is 29 years old, and is a graduate from UCLA.

2. Ricky Ullman

He played Phil on the Disney Channel television show "Phil of The Future." After his role there, he has made a guest appearance on "Law and Order: SVU." Ullman lives in Los Angeles where he regularly volunteers for TAP (Teen AIDS Prevention).

3. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Known for their role as Michelle Tanner on the popular television show "Full House," they were an icon for preteens in the ‘90s and ‘00s. As they have matured they are now known for their sense of fashion and have since then launched their own fashion line called “The Row”.

4. Jonathan Lipnicki

You may know him as from the movie "Stuart Little," or from "The Little Vampire." After his many roles in movies as a child, he decided to take a break and enter public school, but quickly went back to acting. And let me tell you, he is not bad to look at either!

5. Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit

They too starred on "Full House" just like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen but they played Nicky and Alex Katsopolis. Blake and Dylan have, since Full house, quit acting and have tried to lead normal lives. They graduated from John Burroughs High School located in Burbank in 2010.

6.     Mackenzie Rosman

Rosman joined the Camden Clan from "7th Heaven" in 1996. Since then she has starred in numerous films including The Tombs and Fading of The Cries.  She has also guest starred on Secret Life of The American Teenager. In 2007 she graduated from Valencia High School and currently resides in Hollywood.

7.     Tia and Tamera Mowry

After their popular show "Sister, Sister" ended they both studied psychology at Pepperdine University. Tia met her now husband, Cory Hardrict, in 2001 and has a son named Cree Taylor. Tamera married Fox News Correspondent, Adam Housely and has one son named Aden. Their lives were documented on a reality television show on the Style channel called "Tia & Tamera".

8.     Alexa Vega

She was mostly known fro her role as Carmen in the movie "Spy Kids". After her acting roles she also has a career in music. In 2013 she got engaged to Carlos Pena of Big Time Rush and married in January of 2014.

9.     Frankie Muniz

Muniz continued his acting career until April of 2006 when he announced that he was taking a break to pursue his race car driving career. On November 30th, 2012 Muniz was hospitalized from having a mini stroke and has resided in Arizona since then.

10.     Drake Bell

After his work on "Drake and Josh", he started with his music career and spends his time supporting the non-profit organization that addresses the issue of  the clean water issue. In 2005, he was in a car accident where he fractured his spine and a broken jaw. And earlier this year he filed for bankruptcy.

So there you have it, ten child stars all grown up! Is it all you were expecting and more?!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
