No matter where you go to school, the first week of the semester is pretty much the same: new classes, new professors, new classmates, syllabi, and of course the dreaded icebreakers. Hopefully, we will all make it through unscathed, or at least only a little exhausted. Good luck this semester!
1. You will repeat your name, major, and hometown at least 100 times.
Syllabus week is the only time of the year when almost no one is there in their pajamas and actually puts an effort in to look nice to start the semester off right.
3. You will have at least one class with THAT person.
You know the one. Always asking too many questions, oversharing about their personal life.
4. The professor will butcher a few names.
God bless the people who do not have a common name.
5. "This is not an easy A course."
That is not what the group chat said *shrugs*.
6. You will get to all of your classes either super early or super late.
I tend to get to my classes about half an hour early during the first week, but I know plenty of people who walk into class 15 minutes before it ends.
7. Seeing the expectations on the syllabus.
75% exam grades for my overall letter grade? Yikes!
8. You thank God for a fresh start.
A new semester filled with new chances!
