Welcome to the world of shower caddies, meal swipes, textbook rentals, and all that jazz.

1. Move in day

Saying bye to your friends and family + arriving in your new home hundreds of miles away = so many emotions.

2. Unpacking

Shoutout to the Goon Squad for helping us move half of Target up to our dorms.

3. Mandatory icebreaker games

"Let's go around the circle and say your name, hometown and major."

4. Eating at the dining hall for the first time

Unlimited pasta, french fries and soft-serve ice cream? I think yes.

5. Meeting your classmates

Many of us have been with the same kids for 4+ years. Remind me how one makes friends again?

6. Waking up for your Monday 8 AM

Five minutes to get to the building that's ten minutes away? We'll make it work.

7. Tweaking your class schedule

Don't worry: it's not too late to swap that chemistry lecture.

8. Syllabus week

The first glimpse at your impending doom as you see every single assignment of the semester on a paper in front of you.

9. Listening to professors joke about the snowy winters

In case you forgot: you should but a winter jacket...now.

10. The adventure begins

Between dance parties on the quad and free food in Armory Square, Welcome Week has proved that Syracuse is the place to be. Go Orange!

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
