The first semester of college was described to me as being “the easiest semester you will ever take” by my relatives. Now I sit here typing this article knowing that they were all right. So what could be better than looking at my first semester as described by these gifs of penguins?
In the beginning I was excited to begin my first semester of college.
I found friends and we hung out a lot.
I was eating well, my bank account was still happy,
Then my bank account decided it wasn’t having any more of that and made me search for free food at college events.
My friends were gracious enough to feed me and take me to the dining hall even though I didn’t have a meal plan. They even let me use one of their guest passes.
Then the semester went on and classes got past the syllabus part and had me like:
My friends and I got serious and buckled down on studying, so we were at Hale often.
I cut down on those snack breaks, partially because my friends forced me to and partially because my bank account couldn’t take it anymore.
I slaughtered some pretty good tests that left me feeling very accomplished,
Even when some tests kind of slaughtered me…
But you know what? I finished this semester pretty strong.
