Four hot summer days, 9 different stages, over 140 different bands, and the tough decision on who to see over your 4 days at Firefly. Besides the obvious headliners, which bands are worth fighting the crowds to see? Here's the Top 10 "little bands" to see at Firefly this year:

1. Cash Cash

For some of you, this band might sound familiar. Well, they've actually been around for years. They've toured with bands like Metro Station, All Time Low, and Cobra Starship. This band is far from a throwback fad - they've decided to rebrand their ENTIRE sound. Check out Matches on their latest album, Blood Sweat & 3 Years.

2. Judah and the Lion

From Nashville, Tennessee, this alternative bands latest hit, Take It all Back, reached this year's #1 spot for alternative songs. The band is also known for their fun live performances. They break dance and Twerk on stage to keep the audience entertained in between songs from their sets. Between their latest hit and fun stage presence, this band is a must see!

3. PHANTOGRAM

This band's angsty music is considered electro rock. This best friend duo has started hitting top charts this year with their latest album, Three. They've toured with bands like M83 and Muse. Check out their biggest hit, You Don't Get Me High Anymore.

4. DAYA

This singer has just recently become a huge hit in the pop world with her hit singles, Sit Still Look Pretty and Hide Away. DAYA 's presence will not go unnoticed this year at Firefly.

5. ILLENIUM

ILLENIUM is considered the next CHAINSMOKERS for EDM type music. This DJ has remixed some of today's most popular hits and in some cases turned them into better versions of the original. Don't believe me? Check out this DJ's remixes on his YouTube or Sound Cloud site. With some of the best light entertainment to go with their music, ILLENIUM is a must see for a night time show this year at Firefly.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
