Halloween is coming fast, and it's exciting news for most if it wasn't for one thing; money. The question most college students ask themselves is: what am I going to be? How the heck am I going to pay for it?!
As a fellow broke college student, I’ve dealt with the same problem. As I like to say, desperate times lead to creative measures. Here are a few ideas for any guys and gals that only have time for last minute shopping in their closet.
First we will start with the women…
1. Tina and Louise from "Bob's Burgers"
These two are fairly easy. For Tina all you need is a light blue shirt, blue skirt, long white socks, black high-top Converses, glasses and a yellow hair clip. For Louise you need a huge green shirt, black shoes and a pink hat with bunny ears.
2. Holly Golightly
This classic lady is perfect to quickly put together. For Holly all you need is a little black dress, black gloves, black kitten heels, diamond earrings, a tiara, a pearl statement necklace and a cigarette holder.
Here are some ideas for the men…
1. It’s Jake, From State Farm
Go around and give people insurance as Jake from State Farm! For Jake, grab a pair of khakis, a red polo shirt and make a name tag that says Jake!
2. Brawny Paper Towel Man
Become the Brawny man and wear some blue jeans with a belt, boots and a plaid shirt. A nice touch is carrying around a pack of the paper towel too.
Or maybe for any gender…
1. Damian from "Mean Girls"
This hilarious character is perfect for anyone to dress up as. To be Damian, wear a blue hoodie tied up around your head with black glasses and pin a sign that says his classic line onto your chest!
Sometimes the whole squad might decide they want to dress up together.
1. Social Media
Become the social media you love and hate! Either grab a shirt in the color of the website you pick, and paint its logo on it or grab a piece of cardboard and paint the logo on it to wear around your neck with a black or white shirt under. Both ideas works with any color pants you want to throw on.
