Leos, named after the Lion in the Cave, always like being in control and are hard to resist when they are trying to achieve anything they have committed to. In Harper Lee's "To Kill A Mockingbird" the main character Scout can easily relate to Leos. Leos will enjoy this book which follows Scout's family as her father deals with an event that shocked their town. Scout takes this situation into her own hands while also exploring things on her own, thinking she can do anything.

8. Virgo (Aug. 23 — Sept. 22): "If I Stay"

Virgos never cease to be the perfectionist as they prefer practicality over theory, and they have a relatively organized life. They prefer to have every single detail in order to make a decision or solve a problem. "If I Stay" is the perfect book for Virgos. The main character goes on a journey to rediscover herself through memories, but why? All you have to do is read it to find out.

As a Libra, they are known to be very indecisive, so they can depend on others and love working in groups. They have strong minds, stand for equality and are easily inspired by different and interesting things or people, which makes "The Giver" the perfect book for Libras. This book centers on Jonas who lives in a world where everyone is equal and conformity is key to survival. But, when he receives the job of being the Receiver of Memory, his beliefs of the world shift.

10. Scorpio (Oct. 23 — Nov. 21): "Looking For Alaska"

Here we go, Scorpio, with another mystery heading your way. Scorpios are never clueless, always aware of the situation at hand, which makes them very determined. Emotions are important to Scorpios, and they are excellent leaders. The mystery this time is "Looking For Alaska" by John Green, which follows main character Miles as he befriends the mysterious Alaska, but he doesn't know what he gets into when befriends her. 12. Capricorn (Dec. 22 — Jan. 19): "The Hunger Games"

As a Capricorn myself, I easily understand that Capricorns are usually serious and are known to be responsible, independent and masters of self-control. They are practical, as well, but can also be cold and unforgiving. In "The Hunger Games," Capricorns can easily relate to the main character Katniss Everdeen as she fights to the death in an arena where only one of 24 come out. Will she survive?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
