Each person born into this world is unique and perfectly different from every other individual who walks across Earth, so when someone tells you that you need to "find yourself," what does that even mean?

It's simple: it means whateveryou want it to mean. Finding yourself occurs in many different realms of life and what one person tells you doesn't signify what you may feel completes you.

You are the creator of your own destiny; guidance is always a necessity when going throughout any journey, but you must remember that in the end, you are all you have when making decisions for yourself.

Finding yourself is awakening your conscious to create your own personal life timeline. This is where you must set goals and find aspirations in life to pursue and accomplish to your liking.

The biggest step in finding yourself is putting aside your thoughts from others. The only time another person's opinion should matter is when you reach out for that opinion. Doing so will alleviate any type of persuasion to go against what you truly want.

You're the captain of your ship—you're the only one who tells it where to sail.

Confidence and reliance are where the heart of finding yourself lies. A stable sense of worth for yourself creates a wall no one could break down.

Once you believe in yourself and trust your own personal feelings, everything will fall into the exact place you always wished it would.

Conquer your own world and find the passion that fuels your fire.

You won't know who you are when you're ten years old, you'll have an idea of who you are when you're eighteen—but even when you're sixty, you still may not know who you are. What matters here is that as an individual you are constantly growing and adapting and along the way.

You will pick up key characteristics that make up your unique personality. Individuality comes with believing in yourself, and the second you give yourself complete confidence is the day you grow and find yourself more than ever.

Pursue your search and stay resilient during the process. Be yourself, no one else.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
