You'd be lying to yourself if you said you've never gotten stressed or had some kind of break down. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and take your mind off of whatever it may be to calm down. Here are a few things that may help:
1. Go For A Run
Sometimes exercise is the best way to clear your head when having a bad day or you're simply just stressed about school, work, or just life in general. Taking a lap around the block or going to the gym can take your mind off those things instantly.
2. Listen To Music
Putting in headphones and just tuning everything out for a little while is one of the best ways to just relax when you're feeling down. Listening to your favorite songs and only focusing on something that makes you happy when you're down will only end up making you happier.
3. Read A Book
Now I'm not an avid reader or anything, but let me say that once I get a good book in my hands it's hard to put it down. Especially a book that I can relate to. I totally recommend Uninvited, Not A Fan, and The Chase. Those are just a few of my all-time favorites!
4. Talk To Someone
Sometimes getting out all that you have bottled up inside is the best thing you can do to feel better. Venting is a great way to receive someone else's advice, but also get out what has been weighing you down.
5. Trust Yourself
Know that whatever you're going through is only temporary and that you a strong enough to get through whatever it is.
God would never give you something he knew you couldn't handle and he definitely doesn't want you to suffer and hate your life when you're feeling down. It's just about finding the right way to make yourself feel better and find strength! Overall that's what makes you stronger!
